Artists 'better protected' against dementia, study finds

I think at worse art does no harm, for dementia sufferer's. It is a creative process that does not deteriorate with the illness, to the same degree as loss of memory and day to day skills deterioration. Being able to still be good at something, a sense of achievement and communication, is still there. Something to hang on to.
