Painting Bold Canvases with Sarah Weeks

Pewsey Arts Together members painted in bold colours using acrylic paints in the style of the painter Alex von Jawlensky - who they now know all about. This then led them off from the abstract heads, to free up their style and paint butterflies or stripes (like the painter Sean Scully). Drawing with coloured pastels and pencils assisted and developed their ideas and the finished paintings stand as works of art in their own right.
