Most are over 65yrs, and most deaths are due to the impact of cold on respiratory and circulatory conditions. There are grants available to help with heating bills so if you are worried about being able to pay, or are tempted to lower your heating to reduce bills, have a word with a volunteer at a group or talk to Karolyne and we can help you get a grant to pay towards the cost of heating this winter.
