Portraits and Abstract Heads at Marlborough

For the last four weeks the group have been continuing to work on small canvases. Their starting point was the abstract head series by Jawlensky. Using each other as models and photocopies of these ‘abstract heads,’ the paintings, in acrylic, started to evolve with intuitive feeling for colour, into their own works of art.

Maybe some will be hung on the wall at home to be reflected on and to evoke a reaction and a talking point.
